For
a number of years, HiTop Magic has been offering school and library shows.
These shows, both fun and unique, can be either entertainment based or
curriculum based, depending on your needs. If desired, HiTop Magic can
provide shows specific to the themes of literacy, science, and self-esteem.
Here are a few of our suggested shows.
• The Mad Hatter’s Reading Program:
Join the Mad
Hatter as he uses magic to highlight the importance
of reading and literacy. Ideal
for use in conjunction
with reading and English classes, this performance
highlights the importance of storytelling and puts
the
spotlight on children's literature.
• The Great American Street Organ Magic
Show:
Utilizing one of the few hand-cranked street organs
in the United States, this show is based on technology
from 1700! It's fun, flashy, and engaging and besides
stimulating kids to dance and sing along, it provides
a platform for a unique piece of history.
• Professor Jonathan Dark’s Fabulous
Flea Circus:
Fleas and magic go hand-in-hand in this unusual
show where the “insects” perform circus
tricks and
the magician performs feats of legerdemain.
It's a bit of magic mixed with evrything you always
wanted to know about fleas and insects but were
afraid to ask. A perfect complement to any earth
science or nature science course.
